This Privacy Policy describes how Somnificus collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use our mobile application (the "App").

1. Information We Collect

1.1. Personal Information (Authentication)

To provide cloud backup and synchronization features, we use Firebase Authentication. When you sign in using Google or Microsoft, we collect the following information:

• Email address
• User ID and Authentication tokens
• Profile name (if provided by the identity provider)

1.2. Health and Fitness Data

The App collects health-related data, specifically sleep patterns and history, to provide alarm and analysis features. This data is:

• Stored securely on Google Cloud Firestore if you use the Cloud Backup feature.
• Sent to GroqCloud API solely for processing by AI features (e.g., sleep analysis).

1.3. Device and Usage Data (Advertising & Analytics)

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements and Firebase Crashlytics to improve app stability. These services may collect:

• Advertising ID (GAID)
• Device information (Model, OS version)
• Crash logs and performance data
• App interaction data

2. Data Retention and Deletion Requests

2.1. Data We Can Delete

Upon your request, we can delete the following data associated with your account:

• Account Information: Your registered email and user profile.
• Cloud Backup Data: Your sleep logs and settings stored in our Firebase database.

2.2. Data We Cannot Delete

We cannot fulfill deletion requests for the following types of data:

• AI Processing Data: Data sent to the GroqCloud API for AI analysis is processed externally. We do not retain control over this data once it is transmitted, and therefore cannot process deletion requests for it.
• Anonymous Technical Data: Crash logs and device information collected by Firebase Crashlytics are anonymized and cannot be linked to a specific individual.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We share data with the following third-party services to facilitate our App's functionality:

• Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore Database, Crashlytics)
• Google AdMob (Advertising)
• Groq, Inc. (AI Processing via API)

4. Security

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
